I can only say that these smaller dogs seems to have such delicate systems and I'm not sure if they can take such extremely high levels or protein. Anyway, they won't listen to us I'm sure but it's well worth some phone calls. I did write back to the addy in which the notice came to me from but the more people that call and also express concerns.....should help. (call the number the gave me below)

There's got to be more to the story, the bags I have been buying have said "chicken meal" for over a year. Also, just because they have changed to chicken meal, it does not necessary mean that the protein will be higher; they may have changed the proportion of other things. Has RC sent you the email, and if so could you post it here? I also wonder if they are changing their European formula, because I believe someone in the past year said that it still contained chicken, not chicken meal.
