Loved reading all your posts! We have to spell the word play, but we're going to change it because when we get to the "A"...that sounds too much like "Play" and both girls have started standing up and looking at us. lol

Yep, mine know the names of toys too! Annie (my 6 yr. old yorkie) knows what every move I make means. When I hurt myself and say a bad word, she looks at me with concern, then comes over and acts really sorry. She knows the word "ouch" because that's how I taught her not to bite when she was a puppy. I'd yell OUCH, get up and walk away, put hydrogen peroxide and a band aid on it and come back and show her. She really seemed to "get it" and stopped biting immediately.

I can open the back door and say "no you can't go out yet", and they freeze in their tracks! They also know the tone of our voice, along with the words we say. I pretty much talk to mine all day long, so they know me very well. lol
