Pulling on the chin hair is fine..I do this when I am brushing the hair around the face on mine. You just hold the chin hairs to keep them from moving their head around. I didn't know groomers did this also to trim around the eyes. Mine are used to it though because they don't fidget when I do it. Didn't know I was actually doing a good thing
