Forgive me, but I am new to Yorkies...

My friend has a 5 lb Yorkie & she told me that small dogs can typically hold their pee/poo for less time. For example, her 5 lb dog can typically hold his pee/poo for 5 hours.

Have you heard this rumor? What do you think?

My foster Yorkie, Sophie, is a little over 3 lbs. Is it too much to expect her to hold it for more than 3 hours?
