You might want to give him some pure canned pumpkin to help with the diarrhea. If he doesn't like it try making it into a treat
1 c. pure canned pumpkin
1.5 c. flour (i don't use wheat as a lot of dogs are allergic so i use rye flour)
1 egg
1 tbs olive oil
bit of cinnamon
- it makes a very dense batter- i use spoons to make small balls- bake on 350 for 15-20 min 
layla gets about 3-4 a day- pumpkin is great for their digestion and the treats don't have anything awful in them. HOpe that helps. |
that sounds like a great treat. I will definitely try it. and switching every few months sounds good. It's so hard with a picky eater.
