She asked me to stop feeding RAW unless I was going to hunt animals for her to eat fresh. I was disappointed in her telling me to discontinue feeding premade RAW because the enzymes are sooooo good for their teeth. I do leave kibble out for my girls to snack on, only to make sure that they are getting enough food and because they like it. I'm not particularly concerned about the effects of homecooked or kibble on their teeth because I do brush my yorkie girls teeth faithfully every, single night...along with my 3 skin kids teeth, and my own! Phew!
Just curious, I know that you believe kibble is best for preventing tartar buildup, but do you also believe that it is best nutritionally? I have researched dog food alot, and I personally don't feel that it is. BTW, I am only asking you because I respect your opinion. Please don't think that I'm challenging you. What to feed is such a personal decision, we all just have to do what we feel is best for our babies | I pm'd you as I don't want to take over the OP's thread... |
