About the chlorine, I think someone post here so i did some research on it. It look like small doses are usually ok. It's like swallowing some water in the pool.But yes it can be harmful if you eat a lot of them for a long period of time. It shouldn't be a DAILY SNACK but a few times a week is harmless.

Always on the safe side, I now buy regular carrots. I peel and cut a few and put them in water. They are good for a few day and you can use the water to cook or give it to the dog to get the vitamins that got lost in the water.
