We've been feeding ours the frozen mix with both carrots and peas. I like that the carrots are in small cubes and I don't have worry about them choking. We cook a small amount and keep it in the fridge for a snack or to add to their food. Gracie is a picky eater and turns her nose up at plain kibble but she will eat it if I add the peas and carrots to it.
As for broccoli, I have read that it may be toxic to dogs. My understanding is they would have to ingest certain levels for it to become a problem. |
