That is very true...I just don't personally agree with charging such an absorbent amount for a dog "just because," thus the statement. I think when that happens and you are seeing 1000+ profit per pup, then it's very easy to lose sight of things. But that's just me...then again, I
do drive a Ford.
But hey, I'm not losing any sleep over what people charge for them in the grand scheme of things...I never thought that the prices charged for them were that much of a shocker...I thought it was just a commonly known thing.
