I had a Norfolk mixed Terrier who began with only one scab like bump on his
back around the age of 7yrs. They multiplied fast. I took him from one vet
to the next. One said allergies, other's had no idea. One vet put him on
a steriod called azium and he became addited to it. After a couple of years,
by now he was covered I went to a Holistic vet and even she couldn't
find the problem. It was not mange or cancer. He itched and it broke my
heart. When he was put down, due to renal failure there was hardly a spot
on his entire body that didn't have a bumpy scab. I couldn't even pet him.
It was so sad but he lived for 16yrs. I gave him oatmeal baths often to
help relive the itching.
That's why I bought a prue breed this time and enjoy petting him
50x daily because I couldn't do that to my last dog. I pray I never have
to go threw anthing like that again.
I wish you luck and pray for your little one.
PS He never got off the azium. When I cut it down he would
itch worse and he could never come off of it due to side effects.
He was hooked on this drug that helped I guess with itching
but it sure did not help the scabby bumps.
