I think we overfeed Yoda the first year, he's like 6.5 lbs now or maybe near 7. :P
I think he stopped growing at about 10 months to a year (he's 2.25 years old now).
Have you tried a purse that's specifically for a dog? I think Yoda's pretty much outgrown any particular bag, and we usually let him walk with us. When we go into stores, I usually carry him in my arms, or when it's cold out, put him inside my jacket (so only his head sticks out and he can see all the action).
When he was was smaller, he would stay in a doggy bag (not enclosed like a carrier) pretty good. I don't know why, perhaps he was scared of the height when being carried? He'd stay until we put the doggy bag on the ground. Cosita definitely will need to get used to it, I think Yoda was a little apprehensive about the doggy bag at first! |
