I know te topic has been discussed... I know many dogs just do it and that it is actually a hard wired behaviour...
Dog eats feces - dogs that eat poop - Article on Pets.ca - my Greman Shep used to do it when I was a kid.
Sammy eats well, drinks lots of water, gets nutricious snacks and some fresh veggies like carrots now and then. The poo gets cleaed up as soon as I see it... I am not sure if those store bought addatives will work making the poo taste bitter.
He is only 5 months old - has anyone else seen their puppy grow out of this behaviour. I do have to learn not to get mad about it. He sneaks off to another room to either play
, chew on my armoire
or... eat poo
- he knows its not a good thing to do...
