I am wondering how I can increase his bladder control. It seems like he needs to go that often even if he doesn't have anything to drink. He can spend 6+ hours in his kennel and not have a problem but as soon as he is out and about with me he's ringing his bell non stop.

I have a big yorkie he is 11lbs and seven months old so I put in a doggie door and that has been the best thing ever I am not sure if you have the ability to do so or not but if you can put a doggie door I would recomend that. Before I had the doggie door I was taking him out about every hour. And anytime I caught him in the act or saw it I would tell him bad dog and take him outside. It just takes patience
