I think he looks fine -- very handsome. I think the problem with both owners and groomers is they can't make up their mind whether they want their Yorkie to look like a show dog or just a cute pup. My neighbor took his Cairn to PetCo and you couldn't tell what breed it was anymore. He started out like Toto and came out with a tiny head and huge body.
It's pretty hard to make a Yorkie look bad, they are just so damn cute. You can certainly make one look different, but bad? Probably not.
Ruger hasn't been groomed yet, but I think I'll go for that Pit Bull look.
