Duke went to his first grooming appointment today. I was less than thrilled and we won't be going back. She didn't really seem to know a whole lot about Yorkie cuts. They cut the hair on his face way to short. The pieces over his eyes were hanging way over making him look like a shaggy dog, but now they're so short.
She wasn't able to get his ears tipped either, said he freaked out with the clippers. I guess better still floppy ears (which may have stayed that way anyway) than a dog with a cut.
They didn't even give him a bow or bandana.
Even my lab gets a bandana after a grooming.
On a positive note he is very soft and they did take care of the little matts he had.
Is their anyone one in the Rochester, NY area that could recommend a groomer?
