I have read the posts for things that should be included in a First Aid Kit. But I will be the first to admit that most of this stuff, I would have no idea what it is used for. Do I need to just put together a kit with all these items and hope that I NEVER have to use it? I would never self diagnose so I wouldn't give anything without professional advise but I certainly don't want to need something and not have it on hand.

Good post. I hope someone can take the time to explain exactly what should be in the first aid kid and how/when to use it. I hope I never need it...but I need to be prepared so that I won't have to panic if something did happen.
