DomLee - no disrespect but i think its better to be safe than sorry. the pet store we got Bandit from gave us little cards with the breeder's name and information. It was actually CALLED American
Breeders Association. We were very pleased with every thing they were telling us too. They seemed very knowledgeable (sp?) There weren't many dogs there, the place was clean, and it didnt smell bad. After Bandit died of Liver Shunt we did more investigation and found out that they do indeed get their dogs from puppy mills. that would be when they became nasty and told us it was OUR fault that Bandit died. and it took over a month for them to refund the money. So like i said before, better to be safe than sorry. JMHO.
