I wish it was that easy. That isn't the case in all states and we know that vets may even lose their license for scanning a dog and notifying it's proper owner when they find one on the hot list(that comes from a quote on Karin TarQwyn - K9 P.I. Pet Detective Lost Dog Expert). The vets that are in Gen's area were notified and most if not all said they scan new patients and would watch for Cookie. So there's hope there yet. I know she was going to notify the vets in the 'target' area today.
