Several essentials that I recommend......ex-pen, washable piddle pads, Nature's Miracle (or any other high quality enzyme cleaner), loud timer to get up in the middle of the night for a piddle, and an 'eagle's eye'. The general rule is: a puppy can hold its pee one hour for every month old it is. By the way, there are several members here on YT that have Great Danes and Yorkies.
