I have the same problem with Peanut when I'm at work. YUK! My vet suggested first to monitor exactly how much they eat if they'll be locked up and unable to relieve themselves. If that doesn't help and they still poop while you're gone, my vet suggested sprinkling MSG (found in the grocery spice aisle) in the dog food. I, personally, haven't tried the MSG. I've been only giving Peanut a few pieces of food before I leave in the morning and then letting her eat a meal when I get home from work. Good Luck! |
