I got mine at 6 weeks too. Didn't know better. But he has done great! He turned 9 weeks yestorday. He still sleeps under my chin, LOL. I bet he misses his mommy but he has adapted well. Trying to do everything right. As for color changing though, mine has not. I'm hoping he doesn't either, I like his coloring. He is black with tan feet and beard, and has a cute white streak from his front legs to his chin. So cute!
