having a puppy can be overwhelming at times and it isn't always fun and giggles. I think you can make yourself nutts over the training bc you are learning as well, but the reward is so much grater than the work. Like when you come home and you get the best greeting from them. When you are sick or sad they are there to comfort you. When you are lonely, they are there with unconditional love. They become your best friend and you can never replace it. There is just something about the love from your dog. Every dog is different and their personalities are different as well but I have to say Pixie is the best gift I ever received in my whole life!
I am going through some health issues right now and she has given me a sense of comfort that noone could give me, it's like she knows when I need her to cuddle me and give me that affection.
So having a puppy can be such a great reward! Start looking for the blessings and do things together to bond! I hope I helped you
