For the first few nights Alfie slept in his crate in the loung with the 2 german shepherds. He cried and we would take it in turns to go down to him and settle him but not let him out of the crate. After 3 nights i think it was and from what I had read on here I decided to put his crate in our bedroom at night. He has not made a sound since. He goes out for his last pee and poopie about 11.30pm and then upstairs into his crate and we don't don't hear a sound from him until one of the german shepherds wakes up. |
He sleeps in a small ex-pen in the office. We live in an apartment so our neighbors can hear the crying. We only go into the room when he is literally screaming at night. My mom is the one that usually goes, since she doesn't wake up early. She doesn't play or pet him, just sleep in the room for the rest of the night. He only sleeps for about 2-3 hours, then screams, but he has a pee pad in the ex-pen so he doesn't need to go outside to go...
