Actually she has settled down...maybe it was just post-whelping adrenaline? I pray it is so. She is quiet. The puppies have latched on wonderfully and are snuggled up with momma. I have my sleeping bag set up and will sleep with her tonight. (Last time she had a litter she didn't know if she wanted to be with me or the puppies so she attempted to drag the puppies into my bed so she could have both!) We will venture to the vet in the morning to get assistance with that last placenta. I'm going to try and relax.
