I think you have to do what's best for you and your dog. There will always be the best/worst food debate but so many things play a factor. My yorkie is a finicky eater so I give him what he'll ear to prevent hypoglycemia. Do they sell/deliver some of those high end foods in your area. Is it affordable for you on your monthly budget?

Just feed what's best for your dog as an individual. If your breeder is feeding him eukanuba then feed that until you learn your dog and do a gradual transition when you are comfortable .
