The 18-105mm is nice. It would have been my choice, but my DW wanted the 18-200mm. She wanted the latter lens so she wouldn't have to carry too many lenses. I've gotten used to its weight & bulk after trying macro lenses.

I got the 2 lenses separately and now I wish I'd have gotten the 18-200. It really is a pain switching between lenses and carrying them around everywhere.
