I let Scruffs off leash at parks (unless they are near a street). There's this park that's almost fully fenced in by my house and I let him off there. He likes to sniff and run around. We don't have stray dogs in my area (well, I've never seen one, and I look out for them!). Lots of people let their dogs off leash at this park but mostly it is a quiet park and no one else is there when I go. I love letting dogs run off leash, especially at beaches and hiking trails (though all trails around here require leashes so I can't!).
