I could never let my girls off leash. Actually, I'm so paranoid that they hardly leave their stroller or my arms when we're out in public, but there is NO way I'd have them off leash EVER. It's mostly because of my concern about other dogs harming them. I had a boxer go after Missy once. If she hadn't been wearing her harness and leash, I am positive she wouldn't be with me anymore. I had to yank her straight up and into my arms to get her out of the other dogs reach. She was franticly trying to get away from the boxer, there's no way I could have just bent down and pick her up. The whole situation was way too chaotic. Maybe I'm overly protective, but I just can't take those chances with my furbabies. They mean the world to me. |

I am with you on this one, it is just too dangerous to not have our babies leashed

I am very lucky to have a large fenced in yard so they have outside time without a leash. But on walks there is always a leash- better safe rather then sorry
