To say, If I had or If it was me etc... is simply not a fair statement. It isn't you and even though you had a situation with a dying dog recently it does not mean that your situation was anything like hers. You don't know her situation, you weren't there, you did not walk in her shoes. You do not know what you would have done in her shoes as you do not know what the entire situation entailed and to say that you would have done such and such is simply uncalled for and won't help the situation. I surely don't see where it is educating.

There are so many variables when dealing with people online who you do not know. You do not know thier family situation, thier mental status, where they are in life or the things that may have changed and gone on in thier lives to bring them where they are right now.

Again, just how I see it.
First of all, I was talking about a hypothetical. I have no idea who the person is that Lulu was talking about.

I stand by what I said. You don't hold a dying animal and refuse to care for it. Let me ask this.....do you think that person, if she had a medical problem and was dying, would get on an online forum and say she was dying? Seriously. I will bet she would find help for herself..or at least try.

As for the remark I made about "if it were me" , let me expound on it a bit and say that "if it were a true animal lover with compassion". Don't even try to tell me that letting an animal suffer and die while you are sitting on a computer typing is love for animals. Oh..you can try to tell me....but I am not buying it.

Yep...your opinion...and mine. Two different view points on responsible pet care.
