It's funny that this topic has come up. Yesterday I stopped at the vets and told them that over the New Year's holiday that my little Max "caught" some fleas from my best friends dogs.
They suggested Capstar by mouth. It begins working within 30 minutes and lasts for 24 hours. I also bought some Advantage just to make double sure that all those nasty little boogers were dead and gone.
It's been 17 hours since I gave him the Capstar pill and the only fleas that I've seen on him are the ones I got right after giving him the pill and those were moving really slow. He hasn't had any side affects and the most important thing is that he isn't scratching anymore.
