I have found she does not use the pee pads near as well as she has taken to outside. Now I do live in Florida and live in a house so I have a yard right outside my front/back doors. She will whine when she is looking for a place to go and I say "outside" in a nice but firm voice, not like a "no" when she bites. She runs to the closest door and usually goes within 30 seconds of touching the grass. I placed the pee pads where she has the most accidents and for that they have worked well. I do not plan to keep this in practice though, more for just accidents during puppyhood. I will say we are pretty lucky though, almsot always there is someone home. She has never been left for more than 2 hours and is crate trained already at 14 weeks. |
