Well, I know we can't afford $1000 for a puppy. My mom said she can't really afford to go over $650. Which is extremly tough to find when you want a female. But, whoever decides to sell us a yorkie within our price range, we will know that they are not just after the money. The yorkie will be going into a wonderful loving home environment. My mom does not work, so she is home most of time. Except when she has to run errands. So, the dog will be getting lots of love and attention. Our vet is only 5 minutes away and we took Lacey there for 13 years. So, he can give us a good reference. Lacey was very well taken of. Up to date on all shots all the time. Rarely got sick and we always brought her in right away if we felt something was not right. She got her heartworm treatments once a month. She was groomed regularly. Was very clean, did not have fleas. Lacey had nothing but love and attention. I know I have a ton of references that could back us up. If this man does not work out, we have 1 other person in mind. She was Lacey's groomer and owns a shop near us. She is breeding her yorkies right now. And will be selling her females for $650. We have not heard anything since a month ago. Because she had to have gall bladder surgery and a hysterectomy recently. So, we don't feel right asking if her dog actually got pregnant right now. Because we are just concerned about her getting well. And feel it would be rude to feel like we are only concerned about the puppies and not her. I want to send her a Get Well card to her shop.
