I have screened the person getting our two girl pups (and called her vet). I plan to do the same for anyone interested in the boys. I'm not letting them go to just anybody that comes up w/ the money...I will keep them all before I do that! That is one reason why we are asking 700-800 for our boys...I am afraid that if we ask too little...there is no telling what kind of home they will go to. (Of course, that situation would be different if it was someone I know or someone our vet sends our way...she is a long-time family friend and I trust her judgment.) Also, I think if you are informed on the breed, you will be able to spot prospective buyers that are also informed on the breed by the questions they ask. |
