The raw didn't smell until it was thawed out, I believe. It was so long ago that all I recall was his poo smelling awful. I do know he's not going to eat a lot being a small dog, and if he's not wanting to eat if he doesn't feel good he will eat grass as I was told also. He choked on the Merrick's wet when he was a pup and I had to take him to the animal emergency hospital. I forgot which dry he tried, but some bags he hardly ate and some he ate 1/2 to more until he got tired of it and wouldn't eat, like now. It seems like I find a good food and he loves it at first and the love fades. Will this problem be going on for all of his life~? The Vet told me "don't add any other foods to his food. Pick a food you like and stick with it and eventually he will eat". I worry a lot about him not eating since he wants treats all the time. I've cut that out until he eats. Tho I do give him a hip/joint chewy twice a day. |
