He is still a baby and probally will only pick , I free fed my puppy, I added some organic low fat low salt chicken broth to just a few pieces of kibble at a time , she ate it. Also she wouldnt eat out of the bowl so I hand fed her a few pieces at a time. I would just stick with one food tho and stop switching it as that will cause the ugly D's.
When My puppy was teething she would only eat the soft food also so I kept her dry kibble down all day so she could acess it, but 3 times a day I added warn chicken broth so soften it and make it more appealing!!
