I once had a baby yorkie, her name was Bella, and when I first got her, she wouldn't eat and became really sick. She was 9 weeks. I took her back to the breeder and turned out she was home sick. I got her back, again, about a week later and within two days of having her back, I took her to the desert becasue I didn't want to leave her alone!!! She already had her shots from the first time I had her. She did awesome! I stayed in an RV b/c my friend invited me to go with her and her family for quad riding and dirt biking. I took her on a bumpy ride, hold her tightly of course, on a goat cart (sp?). It was REALLY bumpy but she fell asleep in my arms! She ate and drank water and did really great! So take your baby with you!!!
