No expert here... just sharing.
Zoey is fed Royal Canin 33 Puppy which is not a grocery store brand but not a 5 star either - but is what the breeder was feeding and she seems to do well on it for now. I guess the nutrients vary by brand because even though she is 5 lbs now (6 1/2 mos old), she is only fed 1/2 cup total per day. I happen to feed her twice a day so she gets 1/4 cup morning and nite.
With all that said, Zoey generally poops twice a day. Once in a while only 1 poop a day or 3 times a day tho this is rare. |
