Many vets , especially emergency vet clinics will ask for payment up front or half of the payment. If you cant pay then you have to leave.
Ive seen it with my own eyes. People begging to get their dying pet treated and the receptionist saying " Im sorry but this is a business and we need payment upfront"
Its horrible to be helpless and to know that the only reason your baby didnt have a chance was because of the almighty Green dollar.

My eyes filled with tears and my gut just filled with anger. But you did nothing wrong. You loved that baby very much and I'm sure of that. You were with her the whole time and she needed that very much.
Hugs to you.

Please keep an eye on the other dogs. If you can find a way to seperate each of them and keep them seperated in case one of them has diarrheah you will know right away. IF they have seen a vet in the last 12 months, you should at least be able to take a fecal sample and get it tested for about $16
without having to take them in for a checkup and they can prescribe at least 2 meds that are very cheap, you can get them through Walmart. I was charged $21 for an antibiotic for a similar bloody diarreah that looked like jelly but the vet even told me to get it at Walmart instead because it was in their $4 prescription plan.

Again I'm so sorry this happened.
