Most of the time I don't mind people petting my dogs. I now have two so this doesn't work for me any more but when I used to take Bubba to pet smart, people would ask if they could pet him. I'd tell them, I wouldn't if I were you. He gets car sick and just threw up in the car and really smells bad. They would usually just so, oh and leave.
