I like having pet insurance with Trupanion. It costs me about 33 dollars a month with a $250 deductible (you can choose your own deductible) and it covers 90% of the vet bill. I know there is a lot of people who oppose pet insurance but I honestly think it is important especially if you dont think you can afford the bill if your yorkie gets sick! I enroll Skye about a couple months ago and it seems to work out pretty well. I thought it was really good information and it helped me decide on what company to go with. Of course it was mainly based on policy and what fit my budget but it was helpful reading feedback!
