Laci had a very slight case of pancreatitis, but ohh boy was she sick , I have no idea what caused it , but the vet did say that holiday time is the worst for cases of pancreatitis, Turkey skin, ham , fat etc.
What my vet told me to do was NO treats, only boiled chicken and rice for 10 days, I did 2 weeks, I still do not use treats because once they had it 1 time they can get it again ( she can eat yorkie yummies chicken and rice & cherrios) , No more of the kids giving her a little bite of this and that. I switched her food to California Natural its low fat.
I was told it does take at least 10 days for the pancreis to recover from sickness.
