Two fits perfectly in my lap, I can carry them both and my shopping bag, purse or coffee
I am not sure if I had more than two I would be able to take all of them to some of the places that I bring them now. Two fit well in a dog car seat(there is not a third strap) Hubby and I can take two on a plane(1 each) It is alot harder to get someone to pupsit more than 2. There is no shortage of attention or spoiling
They are there for eachother, sleep together, playtogether. I hope to always have them in pairs.
