Hello All,

My name is Natalie I live in South Tampa Florida. I am currently babysitting my friends Teacup Yorkie that is 2 pounds and I have completely fell inlove with it and now want one. I am looking to get a Teacup or a Toy..is there a difference? Also is there a site or a place I could buy my yorkie?? I have never owned a dog before and I need as much advice as possible.

The reason I want a dog....
I want a companionship. My fiancee does military work and get deployed here and there for 4 months at a time and I need something to keep me company whille he is away and I truly think that a yorkie would do that for me.

My main concerns...

When my fiancee is home the dog will obviously get more walks because someone would always be home and wouldnt leave the dog alone no longer than 4 hours. With my fiancee being away I work M-F 9-6 job and I wanted to know if it would be ok to leave the dog alone for that many hours?

Please leave your adivce I would truly appreciate to hear from each of you that have the experience of a yorkie...you all are the best to get the advice from.
