I completely agree.
There is so much to consider to make sure the new addition is the right one. Personality is very important but so is your breeder. When the right one comes along you will know. Don't rush ...it needs to feel right "deep down" and you will not have any doubts.
PS......I will be announcing our new baby after the holidays. I have been looking for several months and have been in contact with a number of wonderful breeders. After many emails, phone calls and pictures, I knew without a doubt our soon to be new baby was the one. Also, her breeder is fabulous! Listen to your instincts...you will know when its your baby.
