Accent is not a meat tenderizer but a flavor enhancer. There have been some concerns in the past about putting something in their stomachs that is strong enough to tenderize meat. Wondered if it would break down the lining of the puppies stomach like it does the meat...
I have used about a teaspoon of Accent in the dog food and all of mine ate it without problems. They did seem to drink and piddle more because of the make-up of the Accent.. |
