A lot of people here on YT use Minksheen and swear by it. I just got my sample bottle of it so I'm probably using it on Jackson tonight - let you know how I like it.
Petsmart now sells BioGroom and Pet Head. I've used BioGroom and liked it a lot but never tried Pet Head.
As for getting him to like a bath... I always gave Jackson a really yummy treat before and after bath time. Something like a bit of ham, or cheese, or chicken, etc, anything that's in my fridge at the time. Bath time is not something he enjoys but he puts up with it and sits still for me. I would just do it slowly. Maybe put him in the tub without any water, and treat him, and then allow him to get out of the tub. Do this a few times, then add a bit of water, etc. I think it's all about patience and calmness especially with a rescue. |
