I always use the paper/silk wraps, since this is what I have used for a long time. I hate to change anything if it is working well. On my boys, I just place the wrap up higher and seems to do the trick as not to get wet.

Wraping jackets are great for the ones that rub. But I found that they must be checked daily. You can get breakage on the top of the back if the dog rolls over and rubs. As long as you check daily - they work great!
