I've always free fed Jackson even during potty training. He's larger at 13lbs but
it's never been a problem. He poops generally speaking 2-3x per day... morning,
afternoon and after dinner, sometimes skipping out on the afternoon one. I do
however continue to pick up his water bowl after his last time outside for the night
(usually around 10pm) until the AM just because he will begin drinking water in
the middle of the night and then have to go, so I avoid that, lol. I think its just
about learning their schedule, consistency and patience! Good luck!
