Well if he suddenly got worse, did you quick him? Happens every once in a while.. Scruffs used to be super good about nail trims, then he got so bad he made an ear piercing screech, but now he is back to being good again. I recently purchased the PediPaws nail grinder from Petsmart and I am very happy with the results. He struggles less and I can get his nails shorter without ever making them bleed. You can still make them bleed with the PediPaws but I was able to go a lot shorter than with the clippers.
