And, yes, when I say she took Alaska by storm, she really did. We must have had 6 inches of snow since they arrived! |
P.S. Yes, we're here!!! And Bella did SOOOO good on the planes. We were in the air for a total of ~10 hrsr (with 2 layovers, thank goodness, because I had a hard time being in the plane as long as we were!!!), and she slept the majority of it! I got several compliments about how quiet she was (in the airports...apparently Yorkies have a bad rap for being barky, but Bella is pretty quiet partly because of her demeanor and partly because we have never allowed her to bark like crazy!) and people were surprised she would just sleep on my lap all that time. She was soooo good!! AND she helped me sooooo much!!!!! Seriously.... I have never been in the air more than 2 hrs at a time, and every other time I've flown I've been extremely green around the gills by the time we landed and had been absolutely worthless. HOWEVER, this time, I felt GREAT!!! (Well, maybe great isn't the right word....I FELT great, however, the last leg of the plane I was SOOOO ready to be done when we still had over 2 hrs left in the air! Ugh!! Being uncomfortable and exhausted is no fun.) I was so much less anxious that I didn't get anywhere NEAR a shade of green! So, yay!!! I am so thankful that she was able to help me like that!!!
